I need some help removing a dash pad on my 74 swinger. I only want the peice on top not and want to leave the dash in the car. Any help?

yea, good luck.lol. you have to take the guage cluster out, the glove box liner( if it still has one.lol). need a i think 5/16 short socket on a 1/4 drive rachet, with like 10" extension.. easier with the seats out, but if not, you will need to put your butt in the seat, your back on the floor, and your feet over the top of the headrest part of the seats!.

then you will be able to get up in there.

to get that out you need to remove the cluster and the glove box to get to the bolts
