Have a brand new set of Crager S/S's for my Demon. Wondering what color I should paint the brake drums that show through the wheels. Car is Sublime Green. I'm thinking of a Bright Kelly Green.

Suggestions anyone?

Mine are black on the Duster. But I have done it that way on my first
green Duster. Had slots on it and did the sassy grass on the drums and
the insides of the slots. That was back in the 70s. It looked cool!

cast gray nothing else are you having a brain fart I've had those several times

I used "Blue Streak" tires for my S. and my car has blue ghost stripes hence the drums went blue... just to give you an idea

LOTS of great ideas here. What type of paint should I use?

I don't know what availability of colors are out there for it, but I just used some plain Duplicolor engine enamel on my drums and they seem to be holding up real good so far. I figured the engine enamel would hold up to heat well, and it's easy as a rattle can, lol. I just used plain black because I had some sitting on the shelf. Didn't really like the rust look and the rest of the axle was painted black when I put it in the car.
