I removed the carb off my Barracuda last week to change carbs and checked#'s.It is a 1967/68 383 4 speed carb.It was working but not well when removed.It for sure will need rebuilding and it looks pretty filthy! lol. First fair offer plus shipping owns it! No problem to ship to U.S.A. from Innisfil, Ontario.Also I need a 340/727 adjustable kickdown linkage,trades? Thanks in advance!

FYI, This is an AFB but it has AVS metering rod covers on it and if the PO didn't change the metering rods and jets to AVS 3 step rods and AVS jets might be why it didn't work well. These are all easily to check and correct when thr carb is rebuilt.
 

Me too. I have a '67 4295S on my 273, and the rod covers look identical to yours. I thought the early AFB's had these covers, and later Eddy's/FedMoguls had the flat ones when the rod design changed.

EDIT: I may have some 340 KD linkage out in the garage. Lemme get back to you after I check.

It's temptiing as my original is gone. But I went to a 67 440 carb
 

I'm selling 12x12x8 boxes that are original 100% cardboard and will write any orig. carb number you want on it in original felt tip pen for only $199.00....But wait there's more......i'f you act in the next ten minutes i will double the offer, that's right 2 boxes for only $199.00. My 4294s AFB on my 67 has the same Metering rod covers as Craig.
