My 69 swinger now has 4.5" bolt pattern on the rear (moser axles) but is still the 4" bolt pattern drum brakes in the front. All the breaks are new and car stops fine but would like to be big bolt pattern all around. Looking for someone to drill my drums to big bolt. Would even be interested in purchasing a set already done, if anyone out there has some. Im thinking this is the cheapest and quickest way to go big bolt in the front. Dont want to run adapters

don't drill the front! thats a disaster waiting to happen

either switch to 4.5" bolt pattern drums or discs

You can pick up a good used set for 100 - 125 that will save you a lot of hassel.

Any good machine shop can weld and redrill those for you.

Got a set on my duster
Been that way for sometime
car is not the fastest but been 7.40 that way and some street miles.never a probem.

My father has a set of redrilled front drums/hubs on his 68 Barracuda. Been that way for 10 yrs that I know of with no problems. Thats why I kinda figured it would be the cheapest and quickest route to get 4.5" bolt pattern on the front.

Don't think "quick", but "less total effort", since you should have plenty of other things to fool with on your car. If your drums are 10", you can sell the whole setup to someone with 9" drums (spindle, hub, drum, UCA).

Most people have the opposite problem, i.e. they converted to BBP front disks and want their rear to match. Sounds like an opportune time for you to convert to 73+ front disks, and many posts on that. Until you collect parts, just carry 2 spares in the trunk.

Where can I get some of those hubs No 1 down here in lower Delaware have any.

Anyone in America or Canada have any of these? I would like to know what they are off of to start with since all a bodies with front drum brakes had the small bolt pattern from MaMopar as far as I know. Heck I don't know anything so teach me here.

I think '72 and up had the 5x4.5 bolt pattern drums if they didn't have disc brakes

nope!! 10" drums in SBP came in the 73- up cars-- they do not interchange with the 72-down cars, Lawrence

My car has 10 inch drum, 4 inch bolt pattern brakes. I was referring to the brakes for 100 and 125 dollars. I want to buy some.
