Would like a white les Paul Custom but for me i don't like the way most les pauls play , Love the way they sound, think they are over priced. Would also like an eventide ultra harmonizer .

I used to be a musician (sax for 10 years), then became a drummer. ;-)

Haven't played much in almost 15 years - work took over.

My drums are almost as old as my Darts ('65 Slingerlands vs. '64 Darts)

Sweet 64 I like the sax there are some pretty awesome sax players out there !! I always wanted to play drums as a kid but never got the chance. I have a drum set as well just an old beater kit called a Crest made in japan in the early 70's.

Tuba player for 6 years, baritone before that, haven't played in 12yrs, lol. Would like to find a Conn Bbb tuba for my own personal use but those suckers are 5-8G's new!! Been trying to find a used one for a reasonable price but those are far and few between.

Also, play some guitar. Have a Washburn acoustic I fiddle around with. Played for 4 years self taught before I got married. Hadn't picked it up in 2years until I took some lessons at school to learn how to read the notes in the treble cleff and how that translates into playing my guitar notes/strings, etc. I know chords though, lol.

I was in a hardcore punk band called ther jury. We put out a few 7" and toured a few times. I played a Gibson lp thru a 70s bass men and stacked with a Marshall and ampeg v12. If you google search jury Albany hardcore punk you can find reviews interview etc

Right now I'm singing in a band similar to the Jury and play bass in a garage rock band. I use a Gibson grabber with an acustice head

I've been playing the drums since 1980, My first set was a Rogers 1969 Red onyx 4 piece, which I still have and thanks to ebay, now it's a 6 piece. The Rogers are in cases, and I have a 1968 Ludwig blue sparkle kit set up that I play.

PLayed violin and guitar in grade school.... between the 2, I wish I had have kept up on the violin....

I've done telephone work inside PRS's building about 15 years ago -was really cool to see how/where they build them.... Their current factory is only 30 min from me.

Well, I have been the fearless leader of the same band since 1989, and we have gone through many incarnations. We currently play a lot of bluegrass as that is my favorite music, but we also do a lot of Irish music around pattys day. Back in the day it was rock, originals and covers, and even a stint through Zydeco!!

I currently play the upright bass, and have most every insturment I've ever owned still taking up space in the muisc closet. In there are my trusty Martin's, a 1960 Les Paul, my banjo, mandolin, all my accordians, a couple other acoustic guitars, and my current amp, which is a Gallien Kruger.

I lost a couple great guitars to a shady pawn shop deal some years ago, and am still seething about that. My Gibson EB bass and my favorite 72 Strat were among the stolen guitars, and my old Fender Bassman amp was also "lost"!!

I love all kinds of music, except rap, which ain't really music IMO, at least no one plays an insturment!! I like bluegrass the best because there is no hiding behind electronics and distortion, you need to play clean and fast, and vocal harmonies are highly stressed!! Pick on all, Geof

My two Babies...

1953 Hofner and a 1962 Gretsch, Chet Atkins "Country Gentleman". I don't play well (quite poor really) but my son is pretty good. He plays a Gibson J185 which sounds amazing.

How long you been playing ? 14 years

i was the lead singer and bassist for a band for 4years. played what i call lead bass on a peavy 6 string mark3. i learned lead guitar from a master guitarist then transferred it to bass because i dont like playing slow all the time. after we split up due to them wanting to go more like a rage against the machine band lol. i quit playing but my friends we as human showed my music to tooth and nail records a christian recording company and the set up an interview. i was never able to make it. it was in spokan and my brother and his wife were having a baby she went into major complications and he almost lost they both. so i stayed and watched their other kids while she was in the hospital. i dont regret missing a record deal now. mostly because i know what a life in music entails and i want to be a father thats around more than that. well when i have kids. as for influences alot of old classic rock but we had more of a 90s sound like nirvana, sound garden alice in chains type. i have everything from frank sinatra, greatful dead to pantera in my music collection lol

I play drums for a Band called Antimity. Been playing since I was 8 (with a few gaps in there) and I am 40 now.

Influences are hard for me. I dont style myself after anyone in particular but I appreciate so many other drummers work.

Currently working with a 6 piece Pearl with Gibraltar Hardwre and rack with Sabian B8's

Dream gear would be a 17 Piece DW Masters wrapped in leather, Gibraltar full cage, Zildian Brass (of many different series) with quite a few abstract pieces.

From the 80's. I think these guys were into Rockin and Mopar-ing............
Mahogany Rush..........80's Omni Pro Stock Car

I play the drums, although I haven't touched them for over a year and a half. Started taking lessons when I was 11, that lasted about a year. I wasn't really into practicing. My dad wanted me to learn. He plays drums, too even now at the age of 84, he still plays in jazz combos.

Anyway, I stopped playing at age 12, then started getting interested in it again in my early 20's. Been playing off and on since then. I'm in my late 40's now. I need to get back into playing, but most of the guys I have played with and have chemistry with don't have the time anymore.

The reason I wanted to play them in the first place is because of John Bonham. My older brother got me started listening to Zeppelin at the ripe old age of four. I have too many influences/inspirations to list here.

My first kit was a Tama 5 piece. Sold that after I bought my vintage Ludwig red sparkle kit. Dream kit would be a DW or Gretsch 6 piece.

Here's a couple of older pictures of my Ludwig kit. The snare is different now. I have a matching red sparkle snare now.

What do you play ? Bass
How long you been playing ? Bit under four years
Influence favorite band's players? Anyone I can learn something from
Gear ? MusicMan Stingray 5 is my main bass. Ibanez SR700 is my backup. SWR WorkingMan's 4004 head, WorkingMan's 4x10T cab and WorkingMan's 1x15T is my usual lout-out for gigs. Recently put together a case containing my bass wireless and wireless IEM...Will add a DI and someday be able to go amp-less/cab-less at gigs that have good PAs.
Dream gear ? I'll worry about that when the gear I have is inadequate.

I play bass in a crappy mostly-rock cover band. I have fun doing it, but am getting tired of being the bottom-feeders of the local bar-band circuit.

lol I did not read that . Doh I just looked at the pickguard n thought Music man

when i was a cub ...my parents made me play the Sitar ....not a familiar thing here but where im originally from its huge....i can play the riff from "paint it black" by the rolling stones ....at least i could last time i tried to play....i dont have a sitar here with me in USA.

my parents also told me to play the bass. i cant read music or anything and played only by watching someone and copying what i saw .......we played songs by tom petty at a little concert (in the pic) that was before my accicent so i was only 15......after the accident i have not done much with it.

only pic i have and not a good one at all hehehe ...only time i ever wore jeans in my life LOL

i have a desire to play something now but when i was a kid i didnt really like it then bcoz i only did it bcoz my parents made me do it. :blackeye:
