Advice Needed - Can't Start Rebuilt 273

Poor quality control going on there! Did you buy from the MFG or did you get it "2nd hand"?? Glad you found the issue though!

Talked to the cam grinder yesterday....he offered to grind me a new, correct cam, mail it to me, and pay for the shipping of the rev. rot. cam back to him. He says it was probably just a mistake in putting this cam in a reg. cam box.

He also offered to grind me a cam 1 step up, as in 268*/.450/110*, which I accepted and should have in my hot little hands in a couple of weeks or so (hopefully)

EDIT: Hey "2nd Dart 67"...what area of Oregon are you in? Near Albany, by chance?

Wow, good news but man that must've driven you absolutely friggin' crazy trying to figure out. Glad to hear you've got a new cam on the way.

Yes, it did. I put a lot of hours into changing this and checking that before we pulled the cam to compare. It's not something you think to check before you stab the bumpstick in. I think I'll do a cursory check of the new one before it goes in...LOL!:violent1:
