Hey folks selling my dad,s 56 dodge royal..car is completely original except new matching headliner this car has never even been painted crackling around taillights and on hood super nice original..like the day it came off the line..""mint"" super red ram that you can,t even hear running push button tran..for you collecters that like pure original...he has too have knee replaced and can,t drive it know more...bummer...eugene...$16,000 in mississauga ontario CANADA putting up more pics when he figures out how to do it LMAO ...likely tomorrow ??? hahahahhah if your reading this DAD

isn,t it called THE SUPER RED RAM HEMI???? look up 56 dodge that,s what they call it just the sphere is different from what i understand...more info would be great ..thanks

Yup, that's a Poly not a Hemi. The block is the same as a Dodge Hemi from that year, and they can be switched over to hemi heads (with a piston change) if you can find them to make it a hemi. But in its current form its a Poly. The naming of it is kind of misleading, because depending on the year ('55 or '56) they called both the hemi and the poly a Super Red Ram.

My g/f's '55 Coronet has a 270 Poly in it. Great engine, shares all of the same parts with the hemi except for the pistons and heads/valvetrain.
