hey i was looking for the vinyl flooring to use instead of carpet. where can you buy it?

Thanks

There's a thread here in the 4-sale section with NOS vinyl. If I can find it, I'll post back.....

is that a one piece mat or was it a two piece in these cars?

My 72 Swinger I had years ago had the black material YO is selling. Personally, I've never seen anything else.

hmm... well i guess if i order the carpet without the jute backing it will have to do...

I've been looking for a mat for my 73 Satellite.

It's green to match the rest of the interior. (Never seen trunk mat pattern).
(Think "cop car" or "taxi")

The back portion (two piece, just like carpet) has become brittle and cracked to lots of little pieces.

It's molded to the floor pan, just like carpet as well.

I've talked to a couple of the carpet vendor's that frequent the car shows and swap meets, and none of them know what I'm talking about, and spend the first 15 minutes trying to sell me what most people think of when they hear "floor mats".

Looks like the YO item is only available in black or tan :(

While we're on the subject...

I've been thinking of going with carpet anyway.

I keep asking but no one seems to know...

Is there a cross reference for the Mopar interior colors to the generic color descriptions from the carpet manufacturers?

did u try the hamtramick registrey?

I replaced the rubber floor covering in my 71 Demon race car. I bought it from Year One and although it's not an exact match to the original one, it looks decent. One thing though, it's about twice as thick as the original and a bit of a pain in the a$$ to lay in. I had to use a heat gun and some weights to hold it in place to get it to form to the contours of the floor.

I already know the Mopar color code (F6), I need the corresponding colors from either ACC or Trim Parts, the aftermarket carpet manufacturers.

They both seem to have about 14 shades of green, and between 4 and 7 of them look close.

I'm looking for the name the aftermarket manufacturer uses for whatever shade is closest to F6.

hmm i wonder if the weight savings then would be worth it...

You could roll on some truck bedliner, it kinda has a similar texture as the vinyl.

I replaced the rubber floor in my Duster and I think it is heavier than the carpet I put in.

Man, I have one of these in my parts car that is in excellent shape, but you are very far away......
