Mustang II suspension

hey Mop....good to hear from you.

want some great BSin and bench racin'....join us under the tent next year at the Nats.

We would love to have you join us.

And I would love to go. Someday. I haven't made it to cruise night or any shows this year due to overloading of family and work.

I just sneak out on Sundays and go cruise the country for an hour....that's all I can muster lately.

I will have to settle for trolling this site for now.....but someday I would love to do the nats.

Mop

Just for the record...I have about 4500 real world experiences miles on my K.
Driven up/down a 500 ft long rough gravel road every time i go out.
Driven on rough potholed streets of KC.
Drifted in remote parking lots when no one is around.
I don't know how fast i have gone but I let off when I ran out of space and it was still riding smooth as glass.....trip digits for sure.
Clearance for big block B body headers, big oil pans and a huge engine in the bay.

Can't say enough positive things about it....but I understand there will always be naysayers.

I say you should have real world proof of problems if your going to hack on them....show me your proof of problems and I will listen.

I love both the alter k, and the HDK. I spoke with HemiDenny on the phone a few times and would love to buy his setup but money is the only reason why I didn't pull the trigger. But I did buy his upper shock mount supports. When money permits I will be making the call and getting the HDK setup.

Just my .02 Aj

Mine will be getting built in a couple/three weeks from now. Going to be a while before I can get back to the car but it will be sitting there waiting...

Not necessarily. They will free up a ton of space for headers....and allow you to run a rear sump pan without having to fight with the centerlink. Or better yet, allow you to run a dragster style flat bottomed oil pan....
Aftermarket front ends really give you alot more room, and yes, watch what you say about front ends on this site! For a driver I think stock. As for my pro street I like my control freaks front end.

should be a kick *** front end since its a direct knock off of a proven set up.. :) i still remember the moparts thread of the guy bragging about buying an alter-k and copying it in round tube. guy had a blue dart.

I'm not gonna take every chance to beat down another product EVERY single time someone talks about it, I looked around, I really liked talking to Al at control freaks, and I like how nice and neat and modern it looks, I know you love alter-k and nothing but alter-k. I hope it does you years of trouble free use, If I had a heavy pro touring type car maybe I'd go another way.

didn't beat the control freak set up down at all. said it should be kick ***.. and stated how it came about..

and thats not true that i don't like other front ends. i like the look of hemidennys kit. looks well put together, i just don't know anything about it. not much feedback on it yet out there. i know a few guys here have them ordered and i'm waiting to hear real world street use of it and how it performs and holds up. AJE i have heard good things about too. only everyone seems to say its a track piece only.

do i like my alter-k? hell yea. people ask about it and i give an honest feedback about it. i pass on information from when i was researching front end kits. i would hate to see someone buy something that they are not gonna be happy with. any of the systems are way too much money to end up with something that has bad geometry or geometry set up for something other then their intended use. i know when i was looking i appreciated any and all feedback i saw posted on the different forums.

cap (pre-qa1) & magnumforce are another story. just search any just about mopar forum and you'll see enough to scare you away from those. :)

Why does he need to explain anything he does to any one here?

Lol. Good. Obviously overly sensitive clowns anyway by the sound of it.
Seriously I don't ever remember posting anything that would run anyone out of here. Think you give me a little too much credit.

And jackass. There is a thread around here of me step by step pulling it apart. Don't see how it matters though. I put a lot of miles on that car with the RMS suspension in it. And still have said suspension waiting to be powder coated and installed in our 70 dart so I really don't know where the hell your pea brain is trying to go with the whole parting the car out thing.

And how bad am I really ? You try to take a shot at me any chance you get and I still recently helped us out with a color chart to help answer a question you asked. :)

I love pissing matches. This seems like a good one

it hasn't been scrapped just yet. here is how it sits at a friends house. he will be using a bunch of small crap from it to put his dart together. 70 dart with RMS suspension also.. he hasn't decided on motor/trans yet though..

been out and about quite a bit this year.. enjoying not really having to work on the cars..:) http://www.abodyjoe.com/2013/2013shows.htm

so there ya go. there is my recent car life for you.. pretty sure most knew the things i have been messing with because i have posted about all of them here...

And it really doesn't make any difference if joe installed his RMS frontend in 30 cars, and parted them out, doesn't make that frontend bad, nor does it make those other copies good either for that matter.

AbodyJoe didn't realize you had your own website. Lot of cool pics (local sitters)

Aj

Thanks man. Haven't updated most of it in years. Been too lazy. Lol.

2013 shows are up to date though.
