when I bought my car it sat pretty low in the rear, found that it had air shocks so I pumped it up a little. I like the look, but Im not a fan of air shocks, nor do I trust them. so I basically need new rear springs as mine are flat lol.

anyone have any recommended springs for me? how are the mopar superstock springs ridewise? the car Will be seeing some track time but is mostly a street car. it currently has a 8 1/4 in it, but Im putting a 8 3/4 in it over the winter hopefully (need to clean up the 8 3/4 I got and change all the internals etc) if I have the time. car is feels around 300hp right now, im planning on intake manifold (has stocker), headers, exhaust, cutouts, torque converter, possibly nitrous/new heads/cam. nothing crazy.

I'll help you out. Do a search for leaf springs. There is enough info on leaf spring recommendations on this site alone to keep you reading for days. I run ESPO +1 springs and am very happy with them.

Super stock springs are race springs that some people use on the street.

I agree with the 2 previous posts. Espo and springs and things are the same place. Not sure why the 2 names.I have the +2 on my 64 Sport Fury. Been there 10 years. Still no sagging and great ride.

1" over on the duster.i like em

espo is pretty expensive, almost double the mopar super stocks??

are they any good for racing, or are they strictly just a cruising leafspring? (i was looking at the +1" springs).

I've got a set of 'near new' Eaton +2 leaf springs I'd sell for $50.

Now thats a pretty good deal and if to high for you can always lower them easily..I run SS on my dart they seemed alittle high in beginning but settled some[about 3/4''] like the ride too..

what is an 'eaton +2' spring? sorry for my ignorance. I might be interested, just the springs or brackets etc? how much would shipping be?

this is my car now, and its current stance.

They still have the original sticker on them from Eaton. The part number is ML229+2-SO17609. These were the springs that were on my '67 Barracuda when I bought it. I decided to drop the back of my car and went back to stock springs. The +2 designation implies that they have an extra 2" of arch to them over factory spec.

I called Eaton up and asked them about interchange between my Barracuda and your Duster. They said that interchange was no problem, but you'd have to check into bushing diameters to make sure they're correct. (you can order the correct size bushings) All I have here are the leaf springs. - No brackets, etc...

On the recommendation of someone on FABO, I bought the springs I have on the Dart from McVeigh's Truck Springs. Don't be put off by the truck part of it, the Dart rides just fine on these things.

They were helpful and easy to work with. Pricing was good.
