my 1973 Dart Sport rebuild

-
changed some things today with the air cleaner. I decided to go with a red 4" high filter to add some more color to the engine bay. I also went with a new chrome lid and put a new decal on the lid. The other one was getting scratched up a little. And since he put an 8 ball shifter knob in the 4 speed, I looked around and found an 8 ball wing nut for the air cleaner. I think it looks different.

buffed the windshield trim and drip rail molding and put it on. Mounted up the little reverse light that goes under the dash like the RR had. Bought a new set of carpet mats with the " Dart Sport " logo embroidered in them. working on getting the fender tag redone this weekend and putting it on. Then it goes up in the air for the underneath. Here is a few pics. should have turned on the flash.

I just bought a set of these also from ebay...They are a cheaper mat, but not the cheapest kind out there....For the 54.00 with custom embroidery they are well worth it.....I am pleased....Just wanted to let everyone know

Today I put some engine decals on along with the trunk jacking decal and the brake booster decal. We also put the new wood grain overlay on the dash. And since Tyler is going to be behind the 8 ball for a long time with this project, I found some 8 ball door knobs and valve stem caps.

Awesome build!
This one is sure to inspire a lot of other people's builds, i know it has mine.
But, are they really ever ''done''?

no Dartnut, I don't think they are ever done. I am still doing some on my Duster and over the up coming winter, we plan on repainting the purple Duster again. So it is really an ongoing project.
