I also did the dash frame and steering column.Blasted, epoxy prime then Sem black.
I started restoring the steering wheel fixing the cracks with two part por epoxy. Then I stoped to have the spokes re-plated in brushed nickel. Ill get back to the wheel one of theses days!
I have a bunch of parts out being chromed that I'm waiting on , rear taillight housings, inside and outside door handles, outside mirror, al the chrome around the vent window, sunvisor piece that holds the seat belt., to name a few.
I have the rear seat done, just need to do the passenger seat. Its very time consuming when you do the glass bead, then the tracks then prim ,paint new burlap, cushions, then legendary seat covers.
I'm sure I did more , just can't think off the top of my head right now.

Hello sammie,
I've been out of the loup, but your cuda is really tops, I hope my f8 paint comes out that well!

Nice work. Most of us need 6 years to get as far as you are LOL!
Growing up there was a sweet green 340s FB running around town. It always looked so classy.
Keep the pictures coming and Thanks.

Nice job so far can't wait to see this one finished.

Thanks guys for the the support. Heres a few pictures of what I got done yesterday. I put the rear quarter windows and regulators in. I started polishing the outside mouldings and installing them as well. I got the inside heater box , insulation, fresh air box, clutch pedals, gas pedal, e-brake cable all in. wiper arms going in today.
I have the headliner in but not finished. You can see in the pictures its clipped with small clips and needs to be trimed yet. I'm letting it sit for a while. I hate doing the headliners , but can't bring myself to give someone $500 for labor to install one! That"s long Island prices!

I didn't do too much with the car this summer, hard to get motivated after work ,and theres always thing to do around here. But now I am back to it. I restored the dash frame and had the bezel sent out to orna-metal in MI. I sent the clock out to Performance Car Graphics in FL, They seem to be really good people , just waiting on that being I just sent it.! I also got the headliner behind me. I found out "that's to 1969383" to use the legendary headliner which went in perfect! I'll only buy from them!. Here's some pictures!
I also got a good used dash pad from a friend, issue free! had the seatbelt holder that mounts under the sun-visor re-chromed. I forgot to mention I glass beaded all the inside metal trim and repainted with Lacquer

Waiting to hear some rubber coming off them tires!!

Well I have been working on the car, Though not much more to show for it. But I am starting to get somewhere now. I put the motor and tranny in over the weekend on the K frame. A couple of cheap HF dollys and a couple pieces of wood, the lift helped too!I took a few pictures its not completely done still have to hook up wires ,coil, starter, I have to buy a battery and exhaust system yet. I got all the glass in the car. I also finished the steering wheel after months of procrastinating . Not bad for my first steering wheel resto. I am glad I had the spoke re-plated before I did anything. Looks good enough. I used jb wield and fill-in primer base coat black, clear coat .I still need to restore the grills, get carpet to name a few! ill be back!

Tom,

Did you trailer the car to a shop? Or do you have that lift at home?

I would kill to have one..

Looking great. Keep FABO posted!

That's at my house! I can't imagine not having it. I've done three cars since I bought it and two before I bought it. Its a must have ,if your going to restore a car or in my case cars. Thanks Gerald for your help again!

By the way that Green looks great as well!!!

Got that baby shining!

Ive been still going on the car, But have been slacken with updates! I restored the heater box since, new core and gaskets, glass beaded all the metal parts and repainted them all. I restored the 4spd clutch and brake pedal. Same thing glass bead painted the lower pedals then used the metal magic?? stuff that prevents the steel from rusrting and keeps the parts with the natural steel color! Also been doing the seats. I completely disassembled the seats and once again glass beaded the seat frames and springs!! New burlap and foam cushions! I also got the rear complete as well as the front end! So now I can roll the car .

Ill post pictures tomorrow of all the other things ive been doing the seats and all! Can't find the camera right now.

no help here, not a fan of heavy wheels. but , beautiful paint on that fish!
