Have reached the losing more friends then gaining them point of life. Another funeral today got me nostalgic for music that defines us. Will start out with a classic i discovered the opposite sex with. LOL. This is a very long 17 min. unbelievable cut with the best drum solo ever. If nothing else watch the beginning and end. Please post your video clips that define you or your generation.

Thanks

Too many to name. I like a bit of everything, from "some classical" to "some jazz" blues, western, rock and roll

It's easier to say what I do NOT like. And........I REALLY don't like RAP

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles did it for me. But there was a ton of other influences along the way.

I can remember listening to In A Gadda Da Vida on KSHE95 out of St. Louis when I was a kid. They had so many requests, and it was so long, they would play it everyday, at the same time. They did the same thing with Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant. This was always, and still one of my favorites.

Way to many to list here, but probably any band that was part of the "British Invasion" of the sixties.
The Who, Stones, Animals, the list could go on and on.

I didn't have the luxury of being able to turn on the radio and hearing a new Zeppelin song.People can say grunge is what defined my generation, but it's not what did it for me.TOOL in my opinion is one of the 3 greatest bands of all time and what really gets me going. My list would consist of Zeppelin,Sabbath and TOOL.Of course I jam some Elton,Bill Withers,Hall and Oates,Earth,Wind and Fire,Al Green and all that when I get in a mood for it.I even like some country quite a bit.I can go on naming bands and artists that I just absolutely love listening to and 95% of them are late 70's and older.I'm with 67Dart273 on this one,NO RAP!

.............................Beatles, Beach Boys, Stampeders, April Wine, Nazareth, Stones, Hollies, Three Dog Nite, Kiss,CCR, I could go on and on, but I wont................kim......

Try not to label, to any era. 60's psycadelic rock,70's rock & 80's metal. Classic jazz,as well.
