Finally!

So sweet! Thanks. Are you planning a trip to the drag strip?

It won't be this year. I don't trust the transmission at this point, as I don't really know what's in it. I also plan on doing new front suspension and four wheel disc brakes before we take it up to the hill. Hoping to get some passes by this time next year.

I'm taking my time and having fun. Have a whole lot planned! :)

Thanks to everyone who commented/complimented. There was a period of time where I was really down on this car, but I'm falling back in love with it. I think it's pretty different and I love that!

I would love to know how you got the procharger attached to the motor? Who made the install kit? Have any pics of the pieces?

I want to put a F2 in my Demon with the 499 and run it on pump swill.

It was from The Supercharger Store. It's basically a big block chevy kit, though. It uses the water pump/standoff bolts and the accessory bolt in the drivers side head for mounting. Goes together very easy.

Would there be a problem with clearance and a MP Viscous fan?

Got to have a little fun yesterday. Let my buddy drive the car yesterday, and he did a couple half throttle stabs coming up my street. Right now, the exhaust is just a couple short lengths of 3" pipe going into a couple old 40-series Flowmasters. I think it sounds pretty mean. Oh, and it appears that he got the right front tire off of the ground on the last little rolling launch...

When we watched the clip back, we really thought it came off of the ground or was super close. After messing around taking stills, sure enough...

Hell yes!

Been playing with the Dart recently?

No I really haven't, Kim. Been super busy with work and other projects. I still have a ton of work to do to the car to get it where I want it. It's been a hard not to lose interest when I think about it lately. We'll see how this winter goes.

Thanks for all the props and kind words about the car, guys! :)
