I've about given up looking for that cheesy foil tape stuff. Any idea if anybody makes repop material for these cars? Thanks.

First of all , if you haven't already check here on parting out forum. On line search to Mopar junk yards . Then you might try Classic Industries , Moparts , Danti's , Year One ,
Lysons , Firestone Classics , Ebay , Moparfins. Just to name a few. If I think of any more I'll send them your way. Could you be a little more specific on what you need.

I need the foil rubber windshield trim. Nobody seems to have it. Any junkyard stuff is just as bad as mine.

Any 68-76 Dart 2dr HT is the same and maybe Barracuda since they use the same glass.

Are you talking about the chrome looking lockstrip? Mine has shrunk about 4 inchs. I have seen some for an outrageous price, there is an ad for a guy selling it (or a close facsimily)in Mopar Collectors guide at a reasonable price.

Yeah, I might just convert it to the newer style stainless. It's garbage in my opinion. The stuff has shrunk about 3" on the bottom.

I never understood on the '67 why the factory put the stainless trim on the rear glass and that lockstrip junk on the front.

Yes Mitchells had the repro first and then Year One and others started carrying it too.
Comes in straight strips. $150 for front, same for rear (and this was 15 years ago), but NOS requires tons of patience and isn't any cheaper. Repops cames with the corners and center peice in case their missing. For the rear you have to gently heat and bend. Stuff still shrinks. Save the left over to stuff in under the corners - stops the leaks - but still advise to use moisture sensative sealant. We reused my original gaskets and the 3m Sealer. However, now you can buy reproduced '67 gaskets, which you couldn't then.

Someplace I've posted a cross section sketch I drew for a person that claimed they found an exact match from another application. (Never heard from him again LOL) If I find it I'll add it to this post, but the above shows it pretty well.

and another thread here on the '67 only lock strip. PS Convertibles used a different version.

Dad and my 67 fastback has repop lockstrip and its junk. Problem in swapping over to 68-9 os.pricey. I figure almost $1k per window to swap.

You can buy the new stainless trim from AMD for 250.00 gasket 120.00 from several vendors and the clips for 20.00 As mentioned though several different cars used that trim so finding it in a junkyard shouldn't be too hard.
