Grave yard cars-Flabber gasted

-
Ya, screw grave yard cards. He will like and snap up A bodies when he can turm them into gold, I hope it is a long time!!!
. I like Bitchin rides and Phantom is real good too. No whacky side burns, hairdo's, or Hijinks but it is still good and not as staged I believe? hate me if you like

the show is funnier when you live in the area and know some of the inside jokes and stuff. I guess I need to drive to Springfield and check them out. It looks like he has a few A's in the yard, I have seen a Demon and what might be a hemi dart but they pan to fast to tell.

He has made a dent in the b and c bodies around here, people trying to sell bombed out shells for $10-$15K.

If you can't understand the beauty of the Fantamworks Bugatti I don't quite know what to say....

i watch most all the car show except unique rides what a joke,,, grave yard cars was much better this year then past seasons,,,better crew,,,if they would only shrink mark wormans head a little smaller,,,but on tv they look like well done cars,,at least there not restoring chevys

IMO, anytime there is a camera around, there is no reality!! The reality of these shows is that they cater to the deep pockets of people that have more money than sense, corporations that provide products, and ratings!! The real reality is right out in your own garage, the cars that regular people can afford, and how they afford to fix them up! That's why they only do super high dollar rare cars, for the exposure!! Think nobody would watch as they fix up an A body on a budget like the rest of us??? Think again!!! Alas, there are no ratings to be had, no corporate influx of super high dollar parts they want to market to the Barrett Jackson A body crowd, and no drama involved!! It's hard to create drama looking for a one year only part for a 66 Cuda for 5 years, unless of course you create it by claiming that the back window is unobtainable at any price, then break yours on purpose to create the drama!!!

IMO,'there is no reality in reality TV!! The reality is in your own garage!!!!

I love the fact that we have a show based completely on Mopars. Hard to believe. mark is arrogant, but funny. It has greatly improved since they got rid of Darren and the idiot son in law. I'd still like to see more detail, but I still watch it and hope it continues

Graveyard cars is a great show to watch. You can learn a lot about the fender tags, plus they do give you good tips when restoring a car. The only thing is that Mark hates any modifications done to a car with aftermarket parts. He always cuts them done. Now I know they have done a few if you have big pockets.

They steal parts off of cars outside to finish cars they are working on. I wouldn't want my car sitting there while they are doing another before mine...

I was also told that their finished cars don't look so nice in person.

They had the Daytona at the Nats last year, not impressed!!!

Acting drama with very little actual on camera work on most of these shows. I suppose they conjure these shows up because they know at some level people tune in for their Peyton's Place fill and a subline of car stuff is a good reason to tune in... They wouldn't make the show the way they do if they did not have ratings steering them that way. I think Foose has the best show at least it appears he has an ingrdiant that many do not and that is nobility and humility.

I have never seen any drama or BS on Graveyard Carz....but I only watch it off the DVR and each show seems to last about....oh....8 minutes. ;)

I skimmed thru the first episode of this season and there was a hint about a '69 383 fastback (blue) getting worked on so, who knows?

I also emailed a question that was recently posed here -- how many "slickback" Barracudas were built? If Mark can answer that one, I'll put his face in place of my Lady of Guadalupe.

I like the mark and tony d episode.
accept they forgot to put the teleprompter up.

Oh crap. I've got some B bodies to work on. Does this mean I need to go ahead and stock up on B sheet metal while it is being made?
Keep in mind there is no money in redoing a A body, 20 years from now maybe, after all the B & E sheet metal dries up.

I seems to me that there is more A body sheet metal being reproduced now than 15 years ago.
Maybe not?

I saw a cable show in which they dropped the back glass out of a first gen Barracuda on purpose, I'm sure. Just to have drama.
Big drama about how hard it was to find.
By some coincidence, they found a V8 Cuda parts car and didn't even mention the fact that they were flipping a slant car and putting a small block in it.
Hum?

I don't have cable.
