Those do NOT meet the definition of NOS, PLUS you can clearly see pitting on the return spring pin for the hot air valve counter weight. .

NOS means NEW OLD STOCK which means new in the box and never installed. Those are used. PERIOD. Plus, that's not even the most desirable passenger's side manifold.

Yes but like Rusty said they are not NOS. Call them new take offs or reconditioned but not NOS.

just purchased NOS right side at Carlisle for $400 in cosmoline. my opinion is with bolts and flange, this was a take off and used very little but not NOS

What's his name? Treblig? On here deals with those reasonable.

Also, "these are a bargain"...........That's in B.C. so the exchange rate at .77 puts them at a paltry $616 !!! LMFAO

NOS does not mean perfect condition, new in the box.New old stock could have been in a damp warehouse and rusting away or have shelf war from handling and still be new old stock. And nos does not mean factory original, merely a run of replacement parts from some manufacturer and may indeed differ from the original factory piece somewhat.
..I have bought nos parts that were not used and were not nice pieces at all.
"623 is correct for passenger side 340.

NOS does indeed mean NOT installed or bolted on though, REGARDLESS of any other argued definition. MY definition of NOS is whateverdafuck I want it to be.

E-Up! If I am going to pay a premium price for "NOS" the part had better come with the original box or parts tag. This guy blasted and painted the things.
