anyone else have one? was glass window standard? want to know if I can safely just leave glass window in place as manual says (or is it referring to a plastic window?)
New to me car and I have not operated the top yet and do not have benefit of PO information on the new top and glass installed, so being cautious - I see that there is a zipper to lower the window. Guess I'm asking what is typical?

Mine originally had the glass back window it it.There is nothing you need to do with it as far as raising and lowering the top. Just be sure you didn't forget something you may have placed in the back shelf before lowering it. When I install a new top it will also have a new glass rear curtain installed. Hope this helps

hey..thanks! good luck with your build.
383, 4bbl, 4sp, 3.23.

if you choose to unzip it, for whatever reason, just do it after it is not in tension. If you try it while it is fully up, you may break the zipper.

The OEM hard back glass will have a Corning logo on it. It's large and shaped much like a notchback glass. As far as I know, that correct glass isn't available new. A new aftermarket top with a hard glass will include a flat, generic glass.

100% correct and to add that NO Chrysler, Dodge, or Plymouth convertible from 67-71 had a plastic rear curtain from the factory.

And that is the bummer about losing my original one. It was blown out by the guy that did the sandblasting on the undercarriage of my car.

Might check with EZ top in Greenville South Carolina

They did my top and I sent them my rear glass to put in the new top after they put the wrong glass in the 1st time. They ask about using it as pattern for a correct glass replacement. So they may have a correct replacement.

As far as dropping the window, not needed. Just don't store stuff in the boot well when the top is up and forget and drop the top.

Have convertible top frames one was off a dart one barracuda if anyone needs a frame, but they are the same frame design.
