True or false cragar 15's in 4 inch bolt pattern?

Was thinking on getting a second set of wheels for the 68
always liked cragars 14's or 15's?
 
15's Both my cars have 15's on the rear. I like the look.

Used to be able to buy them, cause I did 30 years ago.LOL agree with the look
 
Hello there, Does your car have disc brakes in the sbp on the front? I have a brand new set of 14x7 Cragar s/s wheels but some people have told me that they will not fit my car, a 68 Dart GT with the original discs and sbp. Thank you, Brian
 
not sure if they are making them now - but back in the day if you wanted Cragars on a 4" bp car, you had to go with uni-lugs
 
yes disc brakes! but i assumed the pattern was still 4 inch but it is not.

interesting, I did not realize Cragar offered it in 4 inch bolt patter, NOT unilug I guess. if a person changed over to 73-6 disc and obvious 4 1/5 BP, what size wheel ( 14 or 15?) and backspace is required on a 71 Duster? not trying to get off the subject .
 
Your not my car is 4.5 PO just confirmed it was changed over havn't had wheel off yet.
Only have car less than 24!!! gotta tighen that shifter plate so i can drive it got stuck in drivway for 3-4 minutes trying to get it in 1st LOL brings back memories when i got my first 340 car 35 years ago, back then my car would always get stuck in reverse.

15x8 with 5 on 4" bolt circle.
4-1/4" backspace
275/60/15
NOT unilug, shank lug nuts.

They do look a little different from the classic Cragers, the spokes are shorter and an extra band in the hub. I could not find an original set in good shape. I love the look but they are HEAVY.

These fit fine on my car, but tolerances and opinions on backspace may vary...
I ended up with 3/8" clearance to leaf springs in stock location. At least 1" to wheel well lip, maybe 1-1/2. I never have meaured, it's so far from hitting.
I do run Espo +1" springs.

Nice cars. I may stay sbp. I already have 14" sbp rallys. Then I only have to do rears in 15's.
 
Just be aware, I have 14x7 3-1/4" backspace on the front, 225/70/14, and they rub. Not enough to tear up the tires, but enough to make you grit your teeth on every driveway. Stick with a 60 series
I tried raising the front end 1/2" but highway feel was very noticible.
The brick front end is height sensitive.

Like the stance. I otta be able to run 275/60R15 on my 67 cuda rear with a sbp 15x8's 4.5 inch backspacing.
 
Cudas and Dusters have it made.
I have seen 295's on a Cuda, but no idea on backspace or spring location.

Just to clear things up, small bolt Cragars were never unilug. Unilug wheels were designed to fit 4 1/2 and at least 4 3/4" bolt circle. One wheel fit Most all American cars.
