Building a surprise 67 Cuda for my Pops

I love the back wheels! Awesome. Takes me back to my teens! He should be proud, of his car and his son.
Thanks gdrill, wanted to keep her nostalgic. Doesn't take me back to my teens but it does take me back to childhood ;)

The 273 will be very peppy with 3.91s, and they are perfect to hit 60 mph @about 4400rpm in second gear. Very peppy. And yes it will probably need a SG.
'Course, 65=3300ish cruising
gonna look into those 3.91's but forgive me for asking, an SG is a Sure Grip correct?

I don't think she'll have the same stance once we remove the adapters in the rear. Hoping we can find a set of 15's wide enough to recreate the look with the original 5x4 bolt pattern. Fingers crossed

Looks awesome! Good on both of you. Mine is a similar story but Dad bought the cuda for us to work on together. I wish we were still wrenching together.
Have fun!

This is Awesome! Great thing you are doing.
I would swap out the 7 1/4 rear for the 8 3/4 rear will be worth it in the long run.
73 to 76 disc brake swap I think will be the cheapest and easiest to get parts. But if you want to keep it small bolt them do the stock 4 piston disc brake. Not that bad if you rebuild them yourself. Rebuild the complete front end will make a huge different (find out what brake you are going with first) plus a sway bar. Small cam up grade with LB4B intake with 4 barrel. Others will give you better detailed info on this stuff.

Hey davescuda, it's been a while since I've posted and come here, I re read your comment on the 4 piston swap being the best on keeping the small bolt pattern. I'm actually looking at one at the moment and was hoping if you knew if they would fit 14x6 Craiger SS up front, the rear will stay drums for now until the 8/34 swap. Any info is definetely appreciated. We've come come a long way also on the build and will be sure to share the progress. Thanks again
