Vintage bikes are cool. There's a vintage bike show here once a year and I always enjoy it.

I have always wanted a CBX 1000 or 1300.

about 12 years ago i sold my yamaha RD250
im still kicking myself for letting that one go

it was a side by side twin cylinder two stroke
it was given to me by my church, it had been sitting in the basement since the days of Naoh and no one know who it belonged too

I had an RD350 ,RD400 and H2 750 triple....
I have a friend with a 83ish GPZ750 in storage with 1k on it... I would like to get that bike !

You'd puke if you knew how many of those CBX's got torn in two and given to schools for kids to take apart.

Kawasaki made the 1300. It was watercooled and not nearly as attractive.
 
Years ago I had a RD400. That thing had a touchy power band. Road it to bike week at Daytona in 1975. Froze my *** off.
 
I still have a Yamaha 250 big bear scrambler since new. Needs to be restored but only has 11,000 miles
 
No CBX 1300. I almost bought one. Guy had one each of the 1050 and 1300.

I had a Yamaha RD350 2 stroke with Cafe handlebars and twin expansion chambered exhausts when I was 17. That thing was a rocket and could bury the speedo needle at ease.
 
Try a maxed out H2 750 2 stroke with wheeliebars set for drag racing ! I knew a guy with 1 in Mpls around 1980... insane fast ! And sooo loud !
