I have been fallowing this guy on youtube and social media for a few years now. He bought this C5 Vette last year to compete with his old boss who also bought a vette in a friendly grudge race. Garrett stripped all the body panels off his Vette and threw an LT1 motor into it then switched two a twin turbo small block from Texas Speed. When he started his youtube channel he was going to law school in Florida and already had a nice wad of cash from working for 1320 video. His own youtube channel took off and he started throwing serious money into his cars. Monday night he drove the 6 speed to a best of 7.8 which gives him the record for the fastest stick shift GM. He also ran that number after blowing a head gasket and draining the water from the block.

Yeah, obviously not my car of choice, but I also like to watch Cleetus McFarland and did see that video. I also am a fan of the Boosted Boiz, who are a bunch of boosted honda guys, but I don't hold that against them. Haha

I’ve had the chance to talk to Garrett a few times at races about Leeroy. I asked him a few questions about the car and he was still excited to talk about it like it was a huge compliment even after singing autographs for over an hour straight.

That was cool. I liked watching that.

Great vid... I have to watch it again on the big screen... thanks Doogie

It’s a little long but well worth it. If you have time he has a ton of other great videos. His newest car is a crown Vic that he put a Shelby motor into with an aftermarket blower and now it’s making 750 hp.

Freakin A brother!

And F - NASCAR on so many levels.

I say run the car as delivered and only with Hi-Po/race parts that fit the off the assembly line engine/trans/rear/suspension/body!

But that’ll never happen so we’re back to the F in NASCAR.
(Ya! I know there’s no F in NASCAR. They don’t give a F.

Baha ha ha ha ha ha
