I am considering getting the FBO module and dizzy disc. I need to get two new plug wires with 45/90 degree heads at plug end due to new header interference on the 340. I want to know if there is a specific wire type recommended for use with FBO and if so I'll replace the whole set. The 7mm wires I have are new but generic so I don't know what they really are. I have an order waiting to go in at Jeg's and would like to get the wires in that tomorrow. So, what's a good wire set these days? Not looking for Cadillac price but want performance. I'm willing to do the crimping if need be. Straights work for six of them but the #5 and #7 need to be angled at the plug. Stock Chrysler dizzy and cap.

I use insulator boots on #5 & #7 with no issues at all. Just a thought. You can kinda see them here.

Yup, same header design. I got the fiberglass sleeves on those two but there was barely enough room to get them in between the header and head. I would rather route under that pipe with a 90 degree head to keep the wires out of the heat for the long term.

FBO ignition box puts higher voltage out to the plug, so the wire quality could make a difference.

I folded over a piece of header wrap twice (three layers) and tucked it between the plug wires and that pipe and have not had a problem with the wires burning.
Using 7mm silicone wires and HEI.
