I'm looking at converting my power steering to manual steering. I know that in order to use my current centerlink I have to find a 73 up manual gearbox. I'm a little confused on the sizes. What is the diameter of the pre 72 output shaft vs the 73 and up output shaft on the manual box?
I found a gearbox on Ebay and a guy sent me photos of the output shaft at 1.1 that is dia of the power steering gearbox output shaft!?! Help explain all the different sizes please.

For me, the easiest way to tell is the diameter of the threads and/or size of hex nut below the pitman arm. In the mechanical standards a hex nut is 1 and a half times its bore. So the earlier smaller is a 3/4 threaded shaft with a 1 and one eighth hex nut.
The later and larger is 7/8 threaded shaft with 1 and five sixteenths hex nut.

According to that link all the manual boxes are the same size shafts except c body's. The difference shafts are in power boxes. That makes things easier
 
Will this work for my coupler? Save me some money on one of the original ones?
