It fits. I think it was @pishta that sent one to me in the flat monopoly sized box. It fit right in there.
 
I will definitely see what i can do. I like to pull parts every time i am there that can make me a few dollars to finance my own and sons projects. Our rainy season is about over. The rows that you drive up and down are severely rutted from the runoff. I need to almost wait until they get their road grader out there and level it all off.

the hot assed summer is about to set in. The salvage yard i visit they let me drive up and down the rows of cars and i work off my pickup trucks tailgate like a workbench lol. With some of the rows rutted as they are i would have to park, and trek down a row with my tools instead of parking right next to a vehicle, pulling parts, and tossing them in the truck bed. So dodging rattlesnakes and scorpions is the fun part of being there now.

If i can find a complete setup with kickdown minus carby, since the carbs are either gone, or junk from being rained in. Whats it worth to you guys? Id hate to pull it, and the junk guy charges me more than i can sell it for. That just ends up being a waste of my time.
 
Hey man, anything you get over the price of scrape is salesmanship!!!! lol Being able to ship cheap enough is the key. I have always got mine from a bud for around $75 and seen them sell back in Mo for maybe $150, Like said the kick down and correct linkage is a key, but then again you have all the people that swear by Lokar' Slant guy ( me included) are notoriously cheap! Better get it cheap at the boneyard!
No I don't need one. I usually get a running slant with the super six for around $150-200 back in Misssouri.

Guess you never bought from me....take the carb studs off and it fits just fine. It may bow up in the middle but they dont care.

I did ask at the PO and they said there are 2 different size boxes they are small and only carry one size!!!!!

I buy little thru the mail unless something new. I have found though, that many people on these sites, go to the USPS local store and get a price from them to box, and ship. That is so stupidly expensive! No way for me to pay those costs.
 
I'm selling the complete setup with new throttle cable, kickdown linkage, aluminum 2Bbl intake, Carter 2Bbl carb, air cleaner, new decal, and exhaust manifold.

go to website and order 1 (25 pack)@ 24-1/16" x 11-7/8" x 3-1/8, they are free and they ship to your door for free. Cant beat that.

diy's saying USPS raised the $$$ on everything else a bit & that covers the cost, well no sh*t, that's business. Ain't nothin' 100% free...but it benefits those who take advantage of it, what's the beef w/that?
