hi I replace the fusible link , and I am getting power form their but notting else , the
only thing I can think of is the amp meter is bad , and I have no power at the aultanter .

Bad connection at the firewall. Common problem. The spades in that connection are probably broke or corroded. Last time it happened to me on one of these, I ran wire from the hot going into the firewall through the vent window to the hot on the ammeter wire under the dash to get me home.

Maybe. It is one of the better built amp gauges. I would look closely at terminals in bulkhead connection. Plastic connectors melt terminals push away.

^^Agree^^ that is the next place to check for voltage.
On the inside of the firewall, back probe the connector cavity to measure the voltage from ground.
This will tell you if there is any connection at all.
Then turn on the parking lights or dome light. If the voltage drops when current is flowing its a bad connection.

The white wire runs from the hot going into the firewall, to the hot on the ammeter. I just cut the wire and wired this one in. Drove it 180 miles this way. Just a parts car.

Yes. Also I've had situation on connectors where the terminal backs out when the connectors are assembled. Got to make sure they are hooked in well.

Arrow points to male terminal barb that needs to be expanded before reinstalling into connector.

FYI, I didn't mean for my reply to be a permanent fix. That's meant for "I need to get this off the rush hour interstate" fix, lol.
