Seems like they make special gaskets for that purpose. Google it.

Gas boiling/ vapor lock
We used to jam aluminum foil in them. Worked great and is almost free.

Ms900411 you need two of them they just leave a little pin hole for some heat, but that's for a 318 small ports. It comes with three gaskets one is almost completely blocked off you need two off the sets to make one set.
