First I have to admit I am by no means an expert on carbs so would like some advice please

I have this 950 Holley built some years back for a Big Block and itds . Been suggested On here this could work on my 360

Specs of engine:

360 plus 40 thou using 340 rods and pistons (modified)
I think that makes it about 372ci?

175cranking psi = runs fine on pump fuel with34 degrees total

240 @50 sig erson 3h cam
Rhoads lifters
Msd ignition
ported J heads 2.02/1.60 ( painted red RRR ;)
Match ported victor 340 intake
2800 stall
full manual 904
TTI headers (RHD) and 3 inch dual exhaust

3.9 diff gears

Oh and its a 67 Barracuda Fastback and is a street car

What changes would i need to make to the carb please - build sheet attached

Lord knows I ain't bein a smartass when I say this so please don't take it like that. But in the time we've discussed this.....now in two separate threads at least, you couldda stuck it on and tried it. Just put it on there man. You're the one with the engine and carburetor. Not us. Again, not bein a smartass, I'm just sayin you couldda found out by now. Several times. Let us know how it does.

You’re such a smartass (only joking)

Carb is here with me and atm car isn’t so was hoping to set it up here first before i go out to where the car is

Have had spinal fusion so not very mobile atm so time To go out and work on the car is limited

Well that sucks. Sorry to hear. Hope you get to feelin better. Let us know how it does. The only thing sorta against you is those damned Rhoads lifters. I just never have liked them. I guess in the long run, they're ok, because at higher RPM they are "supposed" to restore full lift and duration and that's also when you'l need max carburetor CFM.

I'm with RRR, slap it on. I don't like the Rhoads either. For what its worth a buddy has a similar combo in a Dart. He's using a old DC 509 cam and cheapo Hedmans. He got a 950 cheap from a friend and it runs like Jack the bear. I'd try it as is and make changes accordingly.

I agree. Put it on and let it rip! The 2800 stall might hold that combo back a bit, but it should still be a good ride!

What is the list number on the carb...as said some 950 are only 830s....I use holley 950s on our 360 as they are the 830 version.....but the cars are used for bracket racing...so...gearing and converter was way different.

air fuel meter is going to tell you what you need.
