Having a hard time finding the right part I need so figured I'd run it by you all as it has to be a common problem.

The stock throttle bracket is too short for the intake manifold I am running and it is causing the throttle cable to hit the linkage on the carburetor, it looks like I need a throttle bracket that is 1-2" taller but I'm not finding the right parts from Lokar, etc.

Any recommendations on making this work?

Thanks

Yes, the length wont change. The difference is the bracket sits higher, thats all.

I get all that stuff from Andy F at AREngineering. He makes taller throttle brackets for taller manifolds.

Here is his bracket and throttle return spring on my small block with a Victor 340 manifold.

Didn't mention if original intake or Make, TO RUN THE TALL DUALS OR SINGLE PLANE THE TALLER BRACKET is here. You might need the one I have.

Here is what I did on my 67 B-Cuda with 273, and an AFB, when I in stalled an LD4B intake. I just welded in an 1 inch extension. It works fine with all stock linkage.
Remove the bracket, and cut the top part off, and weld in what ever highth you need.

I just used the original one and bolted an extension using the original stud and tacked a bolt through the extension and moved the clamp plate up to the new stud on the extension.
