I finally got around to getting my new LCAs and decided to go ahead and get new torsion bars. When I removed my old parts, my torsion bar clips basically dissolved in my hands. Every parts store wants $40 for them or they’re too stupid to even find them in their system and look at me like I’m asking for moon rocks. I can get them for $30 shipped to me but I hate paying that much for shipping for something so small and simple. Do y’all have any recommendations on where to get them? Or something to use in their place?

Thanks for answering so many of my stupid questions.

Is this a wanted thread? It doesn't look like it? It should be.

Many a Mopar are on the road without them. It's not like the torsion bar is gonna fall out once it's loaded.

I'd think a large internal snap ring could be used in a pinch. Available at any good auto parts/hardware store.

^^^^^ That would be stronger than factory ^^^^^ But it still isn't going to fall out

I have a few 4 packs of them from Mopar on my bench... or are there 6 to a pack?
Anyway they werent that spendy when I bought these new in the 80s !
