Hello to all, this is Rogerdodger. I have been a member for a couple of months now and am still getting used to the website. I live in Warrenton Virginia. Some of my previous cars in order was a 67 coronet 440, 68 roadrunner, 68 charger, and finally a 69 GTX. That was back in the 70s and 80s. I currently own a 1968 Dodge Dart 270, 2 door hardtop with a 318 4 speed. I'm building it to my specs but still keeping it with factory options as possible.... mostly. I put new tires and wheels on it, modified the hood a little as there was already a hole cut in it for a previous hood scoop. I was told it has been painted but was painted to the factory frosted green I believe. It's a flat green. The hood was also green but was painted black. I also put a bumble bee stripe on it. I know it's a 69 stripe but it fit flawlessly with the body chrome. Like I say, mostly original.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting some of my questions answered and swapping stories with other members. Thanks for listening (reading)!

Welcome to FABO!!! Nice looking Dart.

I drove through Warrenton a bunch going from Virginia Beach to my moms house in Waynesboro PA. Nice little town. I even stopped a few times at the gun store to pick up ammo!

Welcome from Upstate NY. Nice looking Dart. 4 speed 318, I love that. Is that original?
Not original. Came with a slant 6 and a 3 speed on the floor. Somewhere along the line it was converted over with parts from a 1973 duster, meaning it has disk brakes, newer K member, 4.5 inch bolt pattern and 8.25 rear end, 318 and 4 speed.

Welcome from Illinois, looks like a very nice car.
