Just a quick question, has anyone tried these led sequential tail light panels for the demon from dapper lighting? Looking into upgrading my stock lights to led and came acres these. Wonder if they might be worth buying. I know I might get ragged on because mustangs are usually the ones with the sequential tail lights but I kinda think they might look good in a 4 panel light like the demon.

I have them on my 71 Dart, but they came from Digi-Tails. These appear to be Digi-Tails, I wonder if Dapper Lighting is a Vendor for Digi-Tails?

The lights work flawlessly and look very good and bright. The only problem I had with them is one of the wires pulled out from the connector and would cause the light to work intermentently.

What happened was the prior owner, when he installed them was he didn't leave enough length in the wiring harness and when plugging in the connectors, you had to stretch the wire a tad to plug them in. Which put a strain on the wires and eventually the wire pulled out of the male connector just enough to not make contact with the female connector. If you've worked on a computer circut board, they're the same type of connector, small and on the weak side. Thats one area of improvement that really would make a difference, a more robust connector.

Other than that, I really like them. My car is heavily modified so originality doesn't matter.

I've had my tail lights apart several times and the install is stupid simple. They did a very nice job of engineering them and its pretty much plug and play. My only suggestion would be to leave yourself extra length on the wiring and avoid the issues I had and it'll be a piece of cake.

Here's the link to Digi-Tails to compare, the add looks similiar if not identical.

I used the Digi Tails in my 71 Demon. I wanted something bright. The only issue I had was having to swap the connections on the electronic flashers for polarity. They’re very bright and have a switch where you can turn the sequential function on or off, have to access the printed circuit board to do so. If you PM me an email I’ll send you the only video I have of them if you’re interested.

Thanks for the replies tinmannz and dubob. I’m pretty happy with what I hear and will probably be Adding them to my wish list along with new projector headlights if I find some that I like the look of.

Should be very cool on a Demon.

I bought some for my demon from digi tails but haven’t installed them yet.

if you look at the description on that dapper lighting site all you are buying is digitails sold by dapper lighting. digitails is good stuff. run them on two different darts. have friends running their stuff too..

Want to say I bought it on eBay just go to there sight it will show you the number then buy from them or eBay or cut and reverse the wires on your factory flasher to create a resistance it will work the same. Use jumper wires to verify this

On the Demons, would be nice to slow it down.
