YOU WHAT!....Imagine that.
We tossed them on right out of the box along with the Speedmaster rocket arm set. We did move the shims on the shaft around a bit for better alignment. I hope to get the motor back in the car in the next few weeks. April 11 will indeed be interesting...

I imagine in a few months we'll start to get results of "how much peoples cars dropped in ET" by bolting on these heads. Should be interesting.YOU WHAT!....
The internet gurus better get there tar and feather out!......
I need to get back to that... I pulled the Action plus/770 Holley off and sold it. Gotta get busy... lol318 with Dual Quads....Why? Because dual quads are cool ;)
Gotta be honest, this truck has taken all my "car time" think'n.... LOL. '74 Duster has been sitting about 2 weeks with no intake on it. I have to get back to the Dusters, some cool stuff going on with them.....I need to get back to that... I pulled the Action plus/770 Holley off and sold it. Gotta get busy... lol
Divenut You run your stuff at Joliet Route 66 ?
what's in your car? and what are you hoping to run with it?Ya, I've run there in the past on T&T days/nights, but not with the Duster yet. Gotta do a bit more work to pass tech and get a new CRT 727 in this spring. Plan is to run down there this summer. Been chomping at the bit to see what she'll do.

This is bench-marked for me as one of my highlight runs early in the year. This kind of stuff catches my interest77 B200 long wheelbase van.
360, added some headers, Ede performer intake, 600 Holley, Comp 268H cam.
We used a B&M weighted flex plate and retained the stock converter
L60-15 rear tires and 3.23(3.21??) gears.
15.60’s.......
Be interesting to see how 318wills van stacks up.
UPDATE!! Just thinking back on this thread and all the post and people's plans..... All before the country was shut down for a couple months, and COVID. Well, here is where I am at on my list:Ya'll can list what you did and what your hoping for on ET slip!!!
- '76 Duster - 360 getting stock heads swapped, eventually 3.23's in for 2.94's, cam swap, converter swap
- '74 Duster - dual quads on the 318, and only the Lord knows what all could happen by the end of the year. Maybe drive train swap??
- '89 B250 Van - 360 magnum - what's this whale going to swim in the 1/4 mile
- Who knows what the 10's for 5 grand will produce!!!!
- Son's Scat Pack with Corsa exhaust - Getting tires that bite, then a ET slip
