Totaled Kitty's Car Tonight

Actually an easy fix, plan on changing the radiator support.
Those are cheap up here for parts.
Maybe look at buying one with a bad engine.

I thought about that and have looked. Jeff, our body man is going to fix that radiator support. He says he can pull it right out. I believe him, as I've already seen him pull worse. That guy is a geenie in a bottle.

Glad you are both OK. They can do Some damage. I’ve hit 13 of them, all but one were in pickup trucks. The one I hit with a car I thought was coming through the windshield, but fortunately did not.

We were very blessed as far as that goes. The deer actually went down and under the front bumper. Had it gone up, it would have gotten the hood and windshield and possibly done even more damage than "that".

God is good...all the time!!

My neighbor just got done fixing his son-in-law's son's car, and BARELY got it out of his shop, and his son's girlfriend hit a deer with her car.

Good grief. Hope nobody got hurt.

sorry to hear that and glad you are both ok. It happens so fast. About a month ago one bailed off a bank in front of me going 60 mph in my 01 Cummins service truck. I saw it maybe 5 ft before I hit it. It only got my bumper and valance so I lucked out. Good luck getting it fixed

Rob....if you can't find a used bumper cover, check with O'Reilly's if you still have good connections there. I fixed a 94 Honda Civic with about the same damage, and ended up buying the plastic bumper cover at Advance Auto Parts brand new. Again, glad y'all are ok. If the air bags had popped, you'd probably still be spitting out the powder that comes with em!

Glad you and Kitty aren't hurt, those wrecks can end nasty, like you said, going up into the windshield. Around Allegheny County, the deer are everywhere! I've had close calls but thank God no contact.

Well they did not total the car. It was $5 away from a total, though. lol They printed me a check on the spot and I have all of the parts on the way. I've never had any complaints with Geico. They've done us right every time.

Glad Geico came through for you. I dropped them years ago because they never did for me.

Hey, whatever works and if it’s working for you...great!

I've read lots of horror stories about them, but they have always been good to us. We've been with them about 25 years now. When we totaled my Ranger in 2015, they gave me a check $300 under high retail for that truck, and it was not "that good". That's why I was able to get Gladys.
