however, it looks like it was suggested for a 1 5/8th hole, which is not the same as the 1 7/16 you mentioned
so, it may be a dud, but who knows, i would double check to hole and go from there

I just looked at Summit's site. They have them listed by size. It looks like there's a few available in the size you need.

The listed 1.883 OD is just that, overall OD. It fits the 1 7/16 knock out hole perfectly. It fits typical push in breathers, or .750 PCV valves.
