I have what looks like a plug wire on both passenger and drivers side of my car. It comes out with the headlight portion of the loom but it's not plugged into anything. Maybe someone can help me figure out where to plug them in at?

Passenger side is black with brown line in it. Drivers side is black with green line in it.

Hi Doc, do you have a wiring diagram?????, Not being a dick, but you can answer your question by wire color and location.

My guess is turn signal option or side marker

Mix and match parts?
That side marker is a 69
Harness was replaced?

Those are for the A01 light package L31 fender top bullet turn signals...

Body and is a 69 that was used to swap a 68 340 gts car into. Apparently the 68 gts body and frame were rusted beyond saving, so 75% (give or take?) of it went into the 69 custom.

I dont know what those are but I will search and find out right now! Thank you.

Edit- found them and I love those little things! One day!

They stumped me for a bit on my Dart too.

I was hoping these little things were the quick easy fix for why my turn signals dont work. But I guess I won't be getting that lucky today... maybe tomorrow...

69 Dart had rectangle marker lenses that were not lit, reflective only.
In 70 side markers were lit.
Like it was stated earlier, that harness may have the lighted top fender marker option.
Btw, try to get yourself a color wiring diagram from classicarwiring.com
You won't regret it.

I can't agree more. I was a FSM wiring diagram purest. Then I broke down and bought the 11x17, OMG how easy is that. Only thing that would make it better is if they had the switch layout and internal schematics on the back side

Ok Doc
What are your blinkers doing / not doing

They dont do anything. The dash doesn't blink when I turn them on and neither do the lights. At one point for like 1 day the dash would blink and would turn off randomly on it's own but the lights didnt light up. I'm not much of an electrical person so I keep "forgetting" that I have to fix them lol. Which is why I was secretly hoping these plugs were the problem.

I've searched a couple times on the wiring for them and possibly some fixes for them (and my overhead some light). Everytime I've done that I realize it could turn into a cluster f*** with me doing it real quick lol

My 69 Swinger had those fender blinker pigtails but wasnt ordered with them .
I just assumed all forward light harnesses had them.

Do you have brake lights?
Do you have flashers?
Do you have parking lights (front / rear)

Brake lights yes, headlights yes, parking lights yes (except for drivers side rear) flashers yes but only drivers side dash blinks. All other dash lights work they are just very dim.

Bad instrument cluster to sheetmetal dash frame ground. Also start by making sure all the bulbs are good. Do you have an ohm meter, and a light pen?
