Favorite sport is hockey, missing it now. Love hockey fights as most fans do.
Leafs fan, but the best hands down was Bob Probert. This isnt a long fight but boy one of the best I've seen. Never heard of Craig Coxe, saw it on YouTube.

My favorite was the 97 Red Wings vs Avalanche fight when McCarty took revenge out on Lemieux for what he did to Chris Draper the previous season...


 
I remember that game Karl. The revenge game was a seperate one from when Clod Lemieux did that?
Couldnt stand Lemieux...one of the dirtiest. Up there with Matt Cooke.

I was in a store in Detroit and was talking to one of the employees and he said that McCarty was in there once and they got talking... He thanked McCarty for kicking Lemieux's *** in that fight for all of us Red Wings fans and Darren replied, "It was my pleasure".... :D :thumbsup:

Lemieux took out Draper for the post season in 96 and Draper had to have his jaw wired shut and took about 9 months to recover...

The Red Wings kept their cool for the playoffs and waited for regular season home game the next year to give paybacks so they did not jeopardize their playoff chances... Very smart move on their part...

When the time is right, the score will be settled....

I always liked McCarty and the Red Wings organization. Stevie Y is going to turn it around there.

One of my favorite off ice fight, Ty Domi vs Philly fan. Who is in there to break them up? The all time fight breaker, referee Kevin Collins.

 
I remember watching that game lol, that was awesome! Tie was a local here in Peterborough as a kid. Story goes as a public school kid he would go up to high school to scrap the bigger hs students lol.
I always liked Collins as a ref, he was good and fair.

I got to meet Stu Grimson at an event in LA once. He was hilarious. Nice guy. His knuckles looked like beef jerky.....
 
here in the Pacific Northwest hockey wasn't part of my growing up but as I got older I began to watch it. I can see why you love it. Hockey is awesome
 
Here in Portland we would always go see the winterhawks.. it seems in the past years they have tried to put a stop to the fighting.. when they play Seattle it would always be a big brawl and several of them.. I would always put winterhawk tickets in the Christmas socks for the New year's Eve game against Seattle...
I know it's just minor league but it's what we have.
Our second anniversary wedding the theme is paper and I got two front row tickets for the winterhawks.. nothing like being right there on the glass!!!...
I framed the ticket stubs as a commemorative / 2nd anniversary..

Lol, you got a good wife Jpar! Toronto is approx 2 hours from us and ticket prices are ridiculous and that's IF you can get tickets. Junior hockey is cool stuff. I've mentioned it before the Peterborough Pete's are the OHL Junior team here. Great history. https://gopetesgo.com/history
They are replaying old games on TV now and to watch the stick/dirty work is incredible back then.
