Hockey fights

-
Favorite sport is hockey, missing it now. Love hockey fights as most fans do.
Leafs fan, but the best hands down was Bob Probert. This isnt a long fight but boy one of the best I've seen. Never heard of Craig Coxe, saw it on YouTube.
RIP Bob
Post up yours.

He was a legend here in "Hockey Town"! My wife and I met him at a car show around 1992-1993. She got his autograph which, after all these years, has been lost. Good times!

Ask me about PSC Liver Disease

Lemieux took out Draper for the post season in 96 and Draper had to have his jaw wired shut and took about 9 months to recover...

The Red Wings kept their cool for the playoffs and waited for regular season home game the next year to give paybacks so they did not jeopardize their playoff chances... Very smart move on their part...

When the time is right, the score will be settled....
That was also the big goalie battle where Vernon bloodied up Patrick Roy. Priceless!

My favorite was the 97 Red Wings vs Avalanche fight when McCarty took revenge out on Lemieux for what he did to Chris Draper the previous season...

We were at the JOE, that night. Went to a lot of games for a few seasons. Was there when they won the first modern cup.

I've been to hockey games, I remember once when Tony Twist of the St.Louis blues had a few fights in one game. Now this is just my opinion but when I pay good money yo see a hockey game I'm not looking for watching a fight if they want to fight then they should be a boxer.

Fighting is a part of hockey. As Wendel Clark said the ballet is on Sunday if you don't like fighting. If you're not standing when a fight breaks out, I feel sad for you. :canada:

I know it is. I'm guilty of watching the fighting too. Maybe it's because of me getting older that I don't care that much for it. I have to admit it but I really like hockey games.

We were doing shots with McCarty, a few years later at a local watering hole. Nice guy, but a little worse for wear from his lifestyle...
Those guys were so cohesive as a team 97-99, and brothers in arms. My greatest sporting memories...
