Check it out guys its in a running strong go easy on me guys tell me what u think all I'm doing waiting on is my rear end to come in. Some of you know I have been working in this build for about a year now

Hold on brother, you haven't put it in gear yet, lol.
Yaknow; I hit replay about 10 times, sweet sweet idle.
It's been put in first but hasn't gone anywhere lol I'm waiting for rear end to get here then got to get my driveshaft cut down. Also have it set to 12btdc carb tuned and was able to pull 14-15 out of vacuum at 1000 rpm idle

I can't wait till I out the rear end in, the floor shifter, and driveshaft. Thanks guys well see how she performs soon and I'll report back

Ok good,
I was a lil scared for you just then, lol.
Yeah I wanted to go manual but I would of had to start fresh and get everything, I had the converter and 727 so decided to go that route

Trans Go has a dash 1,2 or 3 kit. -2 is a manual/automatic shift kit. Kim.
Yeah I got that one Kim never used one before so we'll see also I have a TCI fastgate shifter I'm puting in.

It'll be quite a big difference I imagine compared to my ol 225 slant 6 lol

Later today guys I will post a video of the whole car to show u guys my progress and story of the car, FABO IS AWESOME!!!!

If you start it do it like you are breaking in the cam
IDK what oil you are using
but
zddp has to be HOT to work
It's not going to get hot just starting it
also your rings are not going to break in
so
you can pre heat your oil with a hot plate under the pan
once you get it on the road do about 10 progressively longer blasts up to some illegal speed and let it coast back to slow
you are tryig to load the rings then cool and lube them

The kit mentioned stage two used to be called Tow and Go
what settings I use
TF-3 is full manual but convertable back to stage 2
recommend part throttle ik down valve body but kit will also work on cable shift with rear pump with some easy mods
Kit was the basis of he great TF-OD kit

Thank you that's very helpful i will probably wait till it's ready to drive before starting it again and I'm using the 30w Lucas break in oil right now. I did not know that about zddp thank you I'm always learning something new on here

I have the same cam sitting on the shelf. Sounds great. I'm glad to see that vacuum level. I was worried it may not have enough for the power brakes.
