i've seen those. thought about getting one for the valiant but instead added the one that screws into a water port

Worth it with any aluminum. Heads, radiators etc.

I run one that replaces the petcock.

Its a sacrificial anode. Same thing they use on boat motors. Any corrosion attacks the anode instead of the engine metal.

it's like you outrunning your friend the anode, when you're both being chased by a bear
