i've seen those. thought about getting one for the valiant but instead added the one that screws into a water port

Worth it with any aluminum. Heads, radiators etc.

I run one that replaces the petcock.

Its a sacrificial anode. Same thing they use on boat motors. Any corrosion attacks the anode instead of the engine metal.
