I have a beat up paper service manual for 74, but am thinking seriously of buying on "on CD." Took 'a trip' through egag and the www shortly, and did not see anything very encouraging. Some egag sellers seem to go out of their way TO NOT CLEARLY DESCRIBE what you are getting (EG what is wrong with the actual correct titles of the books??)

And one seller is the same one I bought the "assemblymanual" from who puts GIGANTIC annoying watermarks on every page. Not very excited about buying from them again.

Thoughts?

And by the way I have the 73 manual free from MyMopar.

i have several cd service manuals along with parts books on cd. mine are cars and trucks. i also have some fsm also. i like the cd's as i can look at them in the house and don't have to worry about fsm being used for mouse nests. are you looking for car or truck? fsm or parts cd?

Automotive not truck, so either 74 Plymouth or dodge, there were two volumes, chassis and body, and parts would be good as well. I did not intend to turn this into a 'wanted' ad, looking for advice on what to buy LOL

found a fsm and parts manual on cd onebay. seller is quikby. fsm id both parts and is item number 152798186718 for 32.89 and parts book is 142585821225 for about same price. free shipping usually about a week to get cd. also they are the last one he has of each one. better hurry. hope this helps. he is the guy i buy most of mine from. faxon is whom i used to buy from but quikby seems better for me.

that is why i quit buying from him. the parts manual on cd is about 25.00 and service manual is about 33. not too bad considering the paper fsm and parts books would be about 2-300.00

I bought the whole string of service manuals in paper repro from 64 - 74 many years back... I still have them all in the original plastic packaging...

I also have a bunch of service manuals from 64 - 75 that I've picked up along the way that I use as my main references when I need them....

However the electronic manuals are not bad, I have all of the ones downloaded from Mymopar and am waiting for the rest to fill in....

The on CD I bought on e-bay has c. 2002 - A. Weller printed on it.
Quality is OK but serious loss of graytone in the images.
Did have a table of contents that opens in the leftside pane. Saves a bunch of time scrolling.
I'll see if I have a record of the seller's ebay name.
Better than Faxon? Yes.
great? No.

I think I bought one of my paper originals from Bishko years ago at a mopar car show/market/race day.
Bishko has their own website and possibly (hopefully) has better quality pdfs.
