I have a,1972 Dodge Dart Swinger Slant Six 225 and I wanted to know how many rows does a stock radiator have? Can someone help...all I know is that I should use a, "22' radiator, but forgot how many rows it is.

Probably Two for a /6 but everybody is buying 3row radiators lately.
I bought a Champion 3 row from Fee-Bay for around $150 and I've been really happy with it.
Looks Great, Cools Great and didn't cost much. What else could you want?

No, everybody ain't. Not if they know what cools best. A two row actually will cool better than most anything out there. That is, as long as it's the RIGHT 2 row. It needs to have either 1.25" rows or 1.5" rows and it will cool most of the wildest combos out there.

look under the cap, you can count the rows. Many AL radiators are large 2 rows. Cheaper to make and cool fine. AL has a higher conductivity than brass by a factor of almost 2 so it can have half the surface area and still cool the same as a like sized brass rad. Copper is 2X better than even AL.

Yes, don't get hung-up on #rows. What matters more is the total thickness of the tubes. I think most aluminum radiators today have 2 rows, but they are thick, oblong tubes.
