Thank you all. It's nice to appreciate more than just one thing.

It is a 73 that I owned 30ish years back. I gave it to a cousin when I moved. He passed away a couple years back and it was still sitting where it was put. I acquired it back and put a 70 grill on it because the original 73 was damaged. I have just finished up a 1972 350 "LT1 clone" more or less. Original flat tops with 2:02 camel humps and a bit of a cam, 470 both sides. Crane 1.5 roller rockers. Should be around 9.5-1. It will have headers and an Edelbrock Performer with a 750, a beefed up 700R4 and 3:73 posi (Yes posi!, It's a Chevy!) to start. We'll go from there. Basically a budget build with stuff I had or found cheap!

Is a ‘73 “Hatchback” model?

OD, essential today for a multitude of reasons, all pluses.
What’s the OD ratio? And tire size.

73 could be Hatchback, but the reason I bought this one back then was because it wasn't. I had plenty of them!
The gears should be:
700r4 1st: 3.06, 2nd: 1.62, 3rd: 1.00, 4th: 0.70 and reverse at 2.29
Tire size is unknown right now. 295/50/15 for the look, but I have some Nitto 555R's in 275/60/15 I wouldn't mind fitting on it.

I have been busy all Christmas season on this so the whole assembly is a present to me. I want to have it running just after the New Year.
 
Then that’s a 2.60 finial drive ratio. Wow!
I like the old 50’s tire. Brings back memories of the late teenage years on the Turnpike.

I'm watching what you do with that Chevy. I have a square body k5 blazer, I think 82 (full size)

I really wish it were a ramcharger but since it's already here and in my name, I'm thinking I might mess with it and see what it can do. I think it has a 350 but I don't know for sure. It will be an adventure learning about it.
 
I like the 50's too....... ah yes the memories.......that was this morning when I put them on. Took me back big time. :) This car had 60's all the way around back then on Torque thrusts......regret selling those.

Yes the Chevy 350 is an easy toy to play with. The "cheap" part isn't always there though. It is however way cheaper than a 340, but there is a reason for that, a very good one!

The Chevy is really only a lot cheaper in the aftermarket heads, upgraded rocker gear, pistons and intake department. Everything else is ether the same or downright comparable in cost. With the above being a good bit more expensive, you would think and plan differently. Outside the box. Swap meets, horse trading or favors came into play.

As a young gun, I choose the MoPar since it was cheaper to own from the start since many did not want them. Since ownership was cheaper it gave me the same if not better overall chance on expenditures to go faster with stock heads.

Once you left the stock iron head territory behind, things got pricey since there was ether the Brodix (which IDK when that SB head came out...) or the W2 as the only option(s) available. At the time, my wallet would not accommodate a W2 set up. When the Edelbrock head first came out, I jumped on it.

I had those same style rims in 16.5"-dia. on my '77 Ford F250 SuperCab Camper Special. The truck was painted Ford Medium Copper with a tan interior. I had it pinstriped in both tan and subdued orange colors to compliment both the paint color and interior color. I painted the area between the spokes on the wheels black. That was a good-looking truck and got a lot of compliments.
 
Okay, I'll bring it back to Mopar.

Wife got me these plates for Christmas. I went to the tag office today and registered them.
