Electrical question??

I’m almost finished with custom wiring for my Dart.
Like a dumb *** I chunked the wiper switch. Would wiring the high speed wire on the wipers with a rheostat (potentiometer) work??

I would just post a wanted add and buy a new one.

Rheostat would need to be sized correctly to handle the wattage you would have to burn off.

Switch does more than on/off and motor speeds- it also activates washer.

Thanks I found a rheostat that has plenty of capacity I will try that

It would not have automatic park. Then again, as I recall, neither did my folks '63 Belvedere...

That should be an easy switch to find. Probably fits many years and models.
