looking at the repop headlight harnesses for my 71 demon. what ones are you guys using? need the headlight harness from the firewall to the headlight/marker plugs.

Unfortunately I think you're going to find its integrated into the main engine harness. Maybe it changed in '71 but I dont think so.

At some point (maybe 20 years ago now) I bought M&H harness from year one. About 5-10 years ago I started scavenging pieces off the original harness to fix a few terminals on the repop...

For headlights that will be used more than once in a blue moon, other than for a 100 points restoration, I'd make or buy a relay harness. I made may own but Daniel Stern has a parts 'kit' and Rob Yule (user name Crackedback) sells a plug and play harness. The relay harness is in addition to the regular harness. All it does is provide a more direct path for the current to the headlights. However, on our A-bodies, that is a big deal. The original headlight wiring was sized for the power of the older 6012 headlamps, and is long route with many connections.

Back to the question.
Your alternatives are a wanted ad for wires you need. Then unwrap the part of the main harness from bulkhead to radiator support and swap the wires. Then rewrap.
