They stopped building cars in 1987 as far as I am concerned.
Several years ago I was at a carlot looking at an SUV
the sales guy wanted to show me a Ford flex
I told him, listen sonny, ford hasn't made a car I want since the talladega

I'm surprised nothing is leaking under mine yet. I also have an under and over gear box and all good so far.
The way mine is put together at the universal at the trans is like two soup bowls sliding one on top of the other. The joint is inside there oil from trans to lub universal joint. Maybe I overfill it. The books tell me to leave the bearing seal on the outside but how does the u joint get lubed no needle bearings in that one.

Good point, looks like I best do some reading.

What's a talladega.

A great turnout at the car show last night. Got to meet up with old friends I hadn't seen for a while because of Covid.
The black Volkswagon that is all lowered is home built and has a 383 Mopar in it. Quite the animal.

The first picture (Burgundy 69 Dart). When Dave bought it it had a 426 Wedge but came with the original 383 block. It had spun a bearing. He had the block machined and rebuilt the 383 so now has the original engine. Gorgeous car and those wheels disc are all original and worth a pile of money.

Nice cars Mark thanks for the pictures.

Afternoon men hot and humid on the wet coast no rain for 50 days rare , there’s a cruse Friday night I will try and get some pictures.

Wow never seen it that dry there. Heading to Washington around the 20th of this month, I'll do a rain dance when I get there.

Well the kids plane stayed together after tearing it apart repainting it and adding all new instruments and putting it back together. Will be riding in it to Washington and yea I'll be looking to see if parts fall off the whole trip. Really looking forward to a long flight just not the being cramped up in a small plane.
