Almost as bad as asking a Pontiac guy. Is it a big block or a small block.
Or if it has a sure grip.
 
Don't get me wrong there. I liked Goats. Got to play with a Ram Air IV with a 4spd for a kid that worked for a friend. "What did you do to that thing? It's scarey!" "That's the way it's sposed to run" :lol:

The tire smokingest (factory stock) car i ever rode in was a 69 or 70 Judge with ram air, dont remember which ram air version. From a 25 mph roll, it would smokem thru first and most of second. Ill never forgot how beautiful the car was and how powerful it was.
 
I believe that in GM speak a six pack was called 'Tri Power", had a friend with a 66 GTO, had a 421 tri power mill with a 4 speed, that was a fun car, but he never beat my 70 Dart 360, mostly because all his car did was smoke the tires, while mine hooked up and hauled ***.

1970 Buick GS Stage 1 510 ft lbs .. make a Hemi worry .. Yeah, I know.... you may commence rock throwing :mad::mob: but it's no lie they were a beast. I worked at a Buick dealership on 1970 that ran a '70 Stage 2 and that thing was on another level. As I remember ( could be mistaken ) the Stage 2 heads were a dealer installed option only. Heads had to add 50+ HP and who knows what torque numbers.

Pontiacs weren't nothing to sneeze at. my first car was a 71 T-37 Tempest with a 350, people would ask "is that a GTO...?" I then got into Mopars.
