I have to admit I really enjoy npk racing. Real heads up racing with all different combos and cars. Some good racing and driving. Way more fun than Nhra crap. Not as much drama as street outlaws. Racing is getting very competitive.

People want to see cars they can afford. remember the turn outs for "Pinks all out"??? Race your way in for quickest 32 small tire. Turn out would be great. 7's -8's light weights with factory suspension are not boring. No long 4 links or latters.
 
To me NPK has a grudge race vibe like in the 60’s and early 70’s. It’s as much about rooting for the character as it is the car.
 
My wife roots for Lizzy. I am a Ryan fan. But Kye Kelly is on my list . Jerry bird needs a win for once. Swanstrom is am asshole.

Radial against the world is where it all began. Lights out meets in Georgia. 220 in an 1/8 on a 315 tire
 
I like Dominators Dart.. just needs a little more power... I have always liked Chevelles despite being a Mopar guy , Bowmans Chevelle is pretty cool... Stinky Pinky not so much
 
It looks like dominators crew is his wife and daughter. I think he has very limited funds. Would like to see him win. He dont have paid crews like some. i like bowmans chevelle also.
 
Just how real is it?
The Outlaws look staged and pumped up for the drama.
Awesome cars though.
I sure wish that I had the knowledge and the money that these guys have.

I haven't seen the NPK cars run so I'm a newbie.
What I do like in NHRA and IHRA is the Stock and Super Stock cars.
Oh, and the pro stocks of old....IE from it's inception to the early '80s and especially the early to mid '70s.
There was a lot of talent and ingenuity put into those cars and it died off when Mopars ruled so they put restrictions on them.
Just like Pro Stock today.
Who only wants to see a G.M. only show no matter how impressive they run?
If people reverted back to the good old days when you ''run what you brung'' and hope for the best, now that would be interesting.....
Who cares about slow?

Without electronics controlling the car, it's a driver and car thing along with experience.
What's not to love?
 
I enjoy the heads up racing, so many of the cars are running the same or similar combinations which makes it a tuners and driver's game. I enjoy watching Ryan Martin, Kye Kelly and Lizzy Musi both can run hard, and I also like Mike Murillo. The loudmouth blowhards are just annoying.
 
Anybody else watching the Team Attack show? 2 cars from each team running in a grudge format and winner pockets 15k. Pretty good racing.
 
I watch both, NPK and Team Attack and enjoy both. The racing is good but the producers put drama in where they can.

Ryan Martin and Dominator are my favorites out the group, I also like Robin Roberts. These three guys don't usually run their mouths and make jacka$$es out of their selfs. Chuck is annoying at best and Lutz often comes across as an idiot, IMO. If things don't go his way Cry Kelley acts like a selfish 8yo and wants to go home.

One thing you don't see is any of JJ's junk running with them.

That's cause he can't cheat and steal other racers money, or make them play by HIS rules.

Yeah, last season one of the racers had 2 power adders, not sure if it was Murillo or someone else. Murillo did "forget" to scale after the first race this season and was called out on it.

I like Dominator too, but he has no real budget and is inconsistent. I also like Kamikaze because he has always had tough luck, be nice to see him have a good week and win. Kye seems like he has grown up a lot since the first time he was in NPK, and he is very fast.
