Hi, has anyone seen this car listed? it looks nice enough, horrible color combo white/blue stripe and interior. I've noticed several small things wrong with it-missing bumper guards, small dents in dash bezel. Listed as 1,000 point car. I have a 70 swinger 340 but price just seems crazy

I was at the MCACN show when it was judged, I personally like the colors. It was a 999 car, no such thing as 1,000 points IMHO. I have seen better believe it or not, but this is still crazy, wonder if all the bids are legit. I would have taken points off for the repop gas tank, aftermarket exhaust, and a few other things that should have made this one around 980-990 point car...

car doesn't have 423 miles on it, that looks like trip odometer mileage. maybe since resto completed

The 68 is a MUCH better car, but still some over restored issues like the 70...

A guy from town has a Satellite Sebring/Gtx clone that got judged at MCACN quite high. They didn't catch it.

Depends on what class they were in, if Day 2 or another class where clones are allowed it may not matter, but in the class this car was in it should have been caught...

Both are beautiful cars and would be fun to own. If you want to own a car that has to live in a bubble.

So does this drive the values of our cars up a lot. I have no intention of selling mine, but I might want to increase my insurance coverage.

MCACN is a joke. They let so much bullshit slide. I feel bad for the the cars done with all NOS and original parts. Then car done will all aftermarket and wrong parts get higher points. Its all BS, Fake trophy’s
Don’t get me wrong there some real beautiful cars that go there. Just not judge correctly

The speedo on the Dart reads 98788 miles

Its awesome to see A Bodies climbing the ladder. I hope they hit 100K. Its time we can restore a car and make money on it if we decide to sell it.

I do feel like A body values are going up, but I agree with some of the other members here that these eBay listings don’t seem to be quite above board.
On a sidenote, looking under the hood of the Dart reminds me of my own car.

Id seen one like mine years ago listed for $40K. It was the (I guess typical) Plum crazy with black stripe/interior/vinyl top. I figured "yeah I dunno if theyll get it..."

more realistically they go for 15-20 but I guess it really depends on how original and correct they are...
